What is a Custom Scene in BNR?

A Custom Scene is a Command Line application that is controlled by BNR.
You can define the command line switches to enable and process the job across more than one Client.

Make sure the 'Custom Scenes' is turned on in the Controller
    Options->Configure->Select Platforms.

In all the Clients you also need to make sure the Custom scene Type is checked.
     (RenderNode Properties in the Controller):

You can have up to 10 different Unique Types

Define/Setup a Custom Scene in BNR:

(Note: you only need to Edit the Presets for Custom Scene you have not defined yet)
Select 'Edit Presets' from the File menu:

Create A Unique 'Preset Name' then press the 'TAB' key and select the 'ADD' button

After you press the Add Button - The Scene name will be moved to the
combo box list 'Select Preset Name':

    Now Press 'Edit':

Select the EXE you will be using for this Custom Scene Preset -
Make sure you are using the 'Shared Directory where all the Clients can access the Files':

Note: the variables used in the Custom scene are delimited by the '%'
so %exe% = the Custom Exe filename, etc..

Create the Custom Cmd, and add all the Variable file names:

You can select which Custom Type this Preset will be used for:

Now select 'Ok' and 'Exit' - The Preset Custom Scene has been setup!
Now you can add custom scenes using the preset.

Use/Add the Custom Scene in BNR:

    Press the 'Add Custom' Button

You can take the default name for the Custom Scene
     - Or Enter in a different Name.

Select the 'Custom Scene Preset Template':

Now Edit the Custom Scene Properties and set the Scene file
or other variables that will change per scene:

Make sure the Scene file used can be access by all clients
(It should be loaded on the shared directory):

Press the "Test Custom command" button to check the Command Line
    Make sure this looks correct.

Now you can test make sure it renders:

You also make new Preset Templates by pressing the
'Save as Preset' in the Custom Scene Properties:

And when you add another Custom Scene - you can select from this newly save preset:

NOTE: Custom Scenes do NOT have the ability to check the frames created.
BNR does not have the format or output filename of the image so it will not check frames.

If you have any presets you've created and would like to share them - Please let me know!
